More medals for Dutch athletes, more people who regularly exercise and play sports whilst simultaneously create more business for companies. With these objectives in mind and in collaboration with TNO, the Sports and Technology Foundation was established in 2005 as an intermediary organization.
Sports and Technology builds and maintains an extensive network of companies, knowledge institutions and sports organizations who are involved in sport and innovation. Besides constantly initiating and supporting projects and programs, Sports and Technology is one of the initiators and organizers of the annual National Sports Innovation Conference in Eindhoven and the National Sport Innovation Prize. The innovative idea of Field Labs comes from the mastermind of the Sports and Technology Foundation.
